Shameless star Jody Latham set for court appearance over £15k cannabis farm
The 29-year-old and his partner Sarah Melia, 31, have both been charged with producing cannabis.
Mr Latham, of Market Street, Bacup, and Miss Melia, of Cotman Close, Bacup, were arrested after officers found 24 cannabis plants worth an estimated £15,000 at an address in Acre Mill Road in Stackstead on May 13.
The pair are due to appear before Burnley magistrates on August 15.
Mr Latham made his name playing 'Lip' Gallagher in the hit Channel 4 drama Shameless, set in Gorton. He left the show in 2008.
He also played Rob Grayson in the BBC soap EastEnders.
