Review - Pax 3 Vaporizer
Last updated Published
If you are considering buying a portable vaporizer as a gift for yourself or a friend, we might have found what you are looking for.
Pax Labs has been bringing the heat with some killer vapes for over a decade. It’s fair to say that this company has helped to set the bar high for portable vaporizers. This latest edition is no exception. Presenting the Pax 3 Vaporizer, the next-gen device for the modern cannabis consumer.
HOW THE PAX 3 VAPORIZER WORKS
On the outside, the sleek, familiar design of the Pax 3 is pretty much identical to the previous model, the Pax 2. The updates and upgrades are on the inside. Everything you need to start vaping and stay vaping is included right in the box (except for the weed of course). The Pax 3 kit includes the following:
- Pax 3 Vape
- Rechargeable batteries
- Herb ovens and 1 concentrate insert
- Charging cable
- Cleaning and maintenance kit (1 brush and 10 pipe cleaners)
- 3 screens
- Protective pouch
- User manual
As we are used to from Pax, this vape is easy to use and simple to maintain. Even if you are completely new to the vape scene and clumsy with tech gadgets, you can get this up and running in no time. Just one button does it all, and with haptic feedback like you have in your phone, the device also vibrates. 15 seconds is all that’s required to reach the right temperature to enjoy a tasty, pure vapor draw.
All you need to do is load up the large oven for a long session, the half-size for a quick vape, or the concentrate insert if you prefer extracts. The Pax 3 can cater to the needs of every cannabis user.
The larger oven allows you to pack more herb for lengthy, continuous vaping, while the more compact half-size oven is ideal if you only want to vape a small amount. Furthermore, the concentrates enthusiast won’t be disappointed either. The Pax 3 can handle all of your favorite waxes and shatters with the concentrate insert.
The awesome 90-minute battery life that the Pax 3 offers is pretty hard to beat. Especially since they double down and include two in the box. Few other vapes can offer a potential 3 hours of vaping right from the outset.
The design of the device might not be unique, but the Pax 2 was (and still is) a stylish piece and the Pax 3 is available in more colors.
Most of the big improvements over its predecessor are under the hood. Waiting time is reduced to a mere 15 seconds for the Pax 3 to reach vape temperature. Plus, this model can also be simply configured for concentrates. You can vape away just like you would with ground, sticky green.
What really sets the Pax 3 apart from other portable vapes are versatility and usability. You can take this vape anywhere and enjoy a smooth vaping experience every time and any time. With 4 temperature settings, you can set the optimal temperature for your herb or extract with ease. Or, if you are more tech savvy, this vape even has its own app that, amongst other cool features, allows for more precise temperature settings.
Although the Pax 3 is a high-quality and impressive portable vape, it’s not without its faults. Unfortunately, to really get a good draw from concentrates, you need to set the device to the higher temperature ranges. After a long vaping session, it can become pretty hot to the touch.
As a high-performance conduction vaporizer, the Pax 3 is pretty quick to heat up in comparison with convection-heated vapes. However, when packing the larger size oven to maximum marijuana capacity, you still need to give the buds a bit of a stir mid-session.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Overall, despite a couple of minor quibbles, the Pax 3 is a fantastic portable vape. This classy accessory can be the ideal gift for that special herb lover in your life, especially if it’s yourself!
Trust us, the Pax 3 is more than worthy of your indulgence/generosity. This handy vape won’t give you any headaches and has a 0% chance of being re-gifted by any lucky recipient.
