MEDICAL MARIJUANA IN CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC

The production, sale and possession of any form of medicinal marijuana products are illegal in Central African Republic.

RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA IN CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC

The cultivation, sale, and possession of cannabis for recreational purposes are illegal in Central African Republic.

There is very little available information about the drug laws in Central African Republic. It is said that the Aka or Bayaka (also BiAka, Babenzele), a nomadic Mbenga pygmy people who live in southwestern Central African Republic, smoke cannabis to prevent internal worm infections.

We are not aware of any possible law changes in the (near) future in Central African Republic regarding medical and/or recreational cannabis.
